Bumped for North America. I still don't take possession of the Honda Logo TS for maybe another three weeks, but I do have the rims now.
Like the general exterior of the Logo itself, these were not well taken care of by the soon to be former owner. She let them get a bit scratched up, but worse she let them rust. The interior of the wheel well is pretty bad, but there's some bad rust spotting you can see. I found out that using Magic Erasers works pretty well, but requires a lot of elbow grease.
I like the design, but I've debated painting them. A matt black might look good, since I'm planning on going JDM with the car, since, you know, this is Japan and it's a JDM Logo already.
A reminder this is what the full car looks like:
I also get the rims pictured here (and see what I mean about the exterior? Gonna need to get that cleaned up). As a former EK owner, this is sort of my inspiration base:
I was never a fan of the championship white CTR wheels on the silver CTR though. Seems like gunmetal or black would have looked better. You'll notice the LTS and the CTR have the same mirrors. Looking into potential swaps for headlights, a carbon fiber hood, and a few other things I had on my EK. There's a lot of potential in the LTS, and I'd like an exterior to match the rather pretty (in my opinion) interior. Right now, that exterior just isn't doing the interior (which is perfect condition) justice:
Such a nice interior, in my view, requires a suitable exterior.
What say you, Oppo?

Ehhh, Enkei hasn't done anything right - I mean, they did the wheels for my motorcycle, but...
ON the other hand, they actually complement the look on the car a bit better.

Love the interior and "pattern" on seats. Is that a Sir steering wheel or stock Logo? I'm dying to get some VX wheels (also made by Enkei) for my CRX!

Got any pics of your CRX?
That's stock Logo TS. The regular logo has a normal four point steering wheel:

I think the rims looks good silver, not a fan of matt black wheels. If you're set on painting them maybe try a gunmetal grey type colour?

I'm not really set on anything except I don't like silver on silver.

I think this sorta colour looks pretty good on silver.

Yeah, that's a nice color. I think when I think JDM, this is what I think (they're pretty common around here):

Yeah light coloured cars with black wheels are extremely common where I live too. Thats partly why I prefer a car that tries a different colour wheel. But its also that black hides some of the details of the wheel especially in low light. In the dark the wheel wells sometimes just look empty. A lighter colour helps give the wheel volume visually.

I miss my 2000 EK, but $970 with taxes/registration/inspection already done for two years, and only 130KM on the car, well, I think I'll take the GA (that's the Logo) and like it. It seems so little for a close sibling of the car I once had.
Maybe I'll simply investigate some gunmetal rim options when I go get new tires. The summer tires couldn't pass inspection, the winter tires are still on it.

Ahhh I see! Sweet interior regardless. Here's my CRX the day I brought her home about two months ago. Please disregard the shocker decal haha. She's a blast.

Beautiful. I'm a total sucker for CRXs.
Just last night, I was arguing with one of my best friends (also a woman, also a lesbian, in case that matters, and it shouldn't) who was ragging on CRXs. Her brother had one, and it was apparently in terrible condition. I strongly objected to her classification of an entire series of cars based on one example. Says more about the condition he got it in, though, than it does about him, even, let alone the entirety of the model series.
And I guess as a feminist (and a Jezebel writer at that), I can forgive the the shocker this time . But don't make it a habit, yah hear?
